Ratu Wangsa Continues Her Visits in Batam City Before Returning to Australia. This time, her destination was State Elementary School (SD) 007 Batu Aji.
According to observations from this media outlet on Wednesday (20/08), thousands of people gathered at SDN 007 Batu Aji — including students, parents, and local residents — all joyfully and enthusiastically welcoming Ratu Wangsa’s arrival.
Also present to ensure safety and order during the event was the community police officer (Bhabinkamtibmas) from Batu Aji Police Sector.
During this visit, Ratu Wangsa expressed her respect and pride toward SDN 007 Batu Aji. She stated that the moment was deeply meaningful and would become a part of her personal history.
She also noted that her presence sends a positive signal for the field of education in Indonesia, particularly in Batam City.
She took the opportunity to encourage students to study diligently, emphasizing that education is the main tool and key for progress and for improving one’s standard of living, both economically and socially.
“Therefore, my dear children, keep learning, keep investing in education — because to me, that is one of the most valuable things to achieve a better future. Obey your parents, listen to their advice, and also the advice of your teachers at school,” said the doctor from Australia.
At the same location, Principal of SDN 007 Batu Aji, Mr. Tasril, expressed his gratitude for Ratu Wangsa’s presence and active participation. He stated that this moment would be historic, as a doctor from Australia visited the school he leads.
